One of the architects of Canada’s notwithstanding clause says the Saskatchewan government should be more patient.
Hey Saskatchewan, I’m a data architect… I think it’s fair to say that the Notwithstanding Clause is a piece of data and thus I’m happy declaring myself an equally specialized expert.
Here’s my advice: just fucking stop. Don’t purposefully drive up teen suicide rates, make people feel ashamed of their feelings, or ashamed of who they are. Just like… go play chess in the park or something and let people be comfortable with themselves.
As a verifiable Data Architect, I hereby endorse this message.
What did they expect when it was built as a hammer to end constitutional oversight? There is no onus to make a law constitutional with this clause.
