Right. I dare anyone to spend a whole week outside in the streets in the cold who thinks they wouldn’t be wanting any reprieve like drugs to escape the constant abuse from both nature and people.

The biggest reason(s) to me is denying folks the opportunity for stabillity and peace that can only come from having your own place. So many people are forced to live together who should not be anywhere near each other.
