It’s like they’re playing chess and putting their peons on strategic spots to keep certain ridings thinking that if there’s an appointed minister on that spot, that people will vote for them.

I know my riding. I know people are fed up with the inaction from the Trudeau government. Housing and food inflation has been a huge issue here. I doubt very much they’re going to be re-elected in Hochelaga.

Ahhh, there it is. I’ve been skimming reports and asking friends for their take on this, because I could not see the angle, but now, I see the angle. Cheers.

edit: a pretty fucking weak one at that, if that’s really it.

Canadian politics have become a game of power. All these parties want to do is stay in power as long as possible. Why? Not to help the people of Canada. No. So they can use that power for their own benefit along with their business friends.

Forget the working class. They’re just there to make the businesses work. Who cares if their basic needs aren’t met. The more expensive life gets, the more they have to work. The more they work, the more tired they are. The more tired they are, the less likely they’re going to protest.
