Don’t be a fucking asshole to young people… I’m in my upper thirties and a manager, we have open positions to junior employees and we actually put in the effort to train them and pay them well. They grow in skill and eventually become strong contributors… this is the way it was for us and we need to pay it forward.
Respecting employees, giving them legitimate and material opportunities, and not wasting their time or insulting their intelligence is one of the strongest ways to retain them.
