    Gosh, what a world we live in. Let’s ban generosity on public property… Glad they’re backing down, but sad that this NIMBY-ass bull was considered in the first place.

    I’ve heard several people in my community make “jokes” about murdering the homeless population, it feels like some people would support a homeless genocide. The anger and lack of empathy is startling to me.

      Ah, yes. “Jokes”, as in testing the waters.

      Can’t stand that!

      With increasing prices, and unaffordable houses we are going to see more and more people on the streets.

    I still don’t understand that with dozens of community churches having empty parking lots 6 out of 7 days of the week, why aren’t outreach groups being offered that space to help reach these vulnerable people?

    It would sure as heck avoid any conflicts, and might actually be a more efficient way of doing things.

      But that would be … humane. And charitably. Churches aren’t charities. They’re just businesses that don’t pay taxes. They’re not here to actually help people, people are here to help them fill their coffers.
