minus-squareUrist@lemmy.mllinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·edit-210 months agoI made the switch a couple of days ago. Just downloaded the forgejo binary, renamed it to gitea and dropped it in as a replacement. Now I am running forgejo successfully.

Exactly. I’d always go for Forgejo over Gitea now, especially since even Codeberg uses it (and I trust them)
