It should be said that a lot of those 2 million accounts are on instances with above 50 000 accounts and only a handful of active users, so probably bot accounts due to no captchas or other barriers on those instances. On the other hand, not all real accounts are active if they’re just lurkers, so actual number of “real” accounts could be quite a bit higher.
