Yeah, but for that you have to open a ticket suggesting that.
I think the main complain anyone would have with this is, only we admin can look at the vote, and no one else can. This isn’t a problem in Kbin or any other platform that allow one to do so.
I only check the vote to see if there’s any brigading, other than that, i have no issue with other admins snooping or whatever. Ohh to be clear, all of us admin can see the vote everywhere, getting a new instance yourself will not solve anything.
Thanks! I’ve been thinking about this sort of tool but didn’t went to look for it
Yeah, that’s the issue federation for lemmy have. I’m from a very small instance and my “All” feed only shows just a fraction of community from those big instance. If i need more community post showing i need to manually request federation for each and every community. It’s not too big of an issue if you’re from big instance as people will likely look for more community to subscribe, but for small instance it will be barren most of the time if no one try to look for new community using external browser, which makes people migrate to bigger instance, and defeat the purpose of having multiple instance.
Though i must say, manually federating is quite fast these day, i remember last year i have to keep refreshing for it to shows, and it take hours for the content to federate. The dev surely do magic.
Ahh, no worries. Keep it up!
Got any screenshot to share here? I’m curious
You wouldn’t download a meme
Yes, yes i will.
Lmao imagine when it get vanced to work without subscription.
“If you don’t like spez decision, then just open up the sub and leave!”
Mods left
“Where is all the mods?”
“They’re just butthurt they didn’t get any support hue hue hue”
Internet is a funni place.
Nice tool!
Technically, yes. If the law is of concern, if you’re an admin, purging it from your database will be the only extend your power can reach. If privacy is of concern, while purging will not federate, delete/edit will, so edit all comment into gibberish before deleting your own account, and then ask for it to be purged. If that’s unacceptable then best not use social media at all.
Message your admin and ask for purging of that post/comment/user.
Lol, yeah, when watching that bit my mind goes “wait, that’s just forums and Fediverse”
Yeah, AITA is basically bot repost, the other AITA didn’t even have chance to grow.
Hey, i think i reddit somewhere.
Yep. The graph above shows the significant drop in active user, meaning there’s gonna be even less engagement if this goes on. The drop in total user maybe due to some small instance just vaporised, which usually caused by lack of active user on that instance and the admin just pull the plug. After all, why spend money on something people don’t really use?
The country instance i’m in, for example, had goes from 30± daily active user earlier last month to 12± daily active user, likely due to people migrate to bigger instance, or gone back to reddit/somewhere else. With most admin team missing or barely active, including the head admin, this instance will vaporise as well.
Threadlock bro.
Yes. My instance will sometime have unusual high load and it will overload the cpu unless restarted. 0.18.3 doesn’t seems to fix it, and it only affect some instance but not all. It’s hard to pinpoint what cause the loop to happen.
When Reddit go public we gonna see some serious shit.
