Ah yes, “the” government.
That’s probably it.
Maybe your server just has Gluetun intolerance…
Yeah idk why you spread misinformation like that. File up/downloads are done via a p2p connection (see a reverse-engineered documentation of the p2p connection process) and thus the IP addresses are obviously known. Maybe not directly visible in the SoulseekQt client itself, but definitely through third party network connection monitors like Wireshark. It’s pretty trivial for anyone using Soulseek to get IPs of the people they download from.
It’s more about being visible to other users. If other users have your IP address, they can go to your ISP and complain about your IP address sharing copyrighted material. In certain jurisdictions they have to give out your info so that legal action can be taken against you.
If you use a VPN, they only know that somebody using this VPN is sharing copyrighted material. Since VPNs usually do not log who sends what, they can’t be made to give out users data, so you’re safe.
https://eroscripts.com sometimes has script releases that include a dl link to the video as well.
Otherwise, almost all studio websites give you the option to download short 2 min preview videos in full quality. Go to https://sexlikereal.com (a portal/collection site) to find studios and videos.
Better quality makes a huge difference. Don’t look at anything below your native VR headset resolution if possible.
There are no certain filters. If you see the message, it’s 99% of the time other adblockers/addons/maybe even browser settings interfering. If you literally have stock Firefox with uBlock you will see no ads.
I feel that’s a feature of Lemmy to not do both. I don’t care about microblogs. I want the sites that I use to do one thing and do it as well as possible, so I can mix & match what I use, and not see what I don’t want.
The fact that it did ask you to set home once at least means that it’s running. It’s likely running into an error somewhere.
Honestly iOS and Safari (and Apple in general) were one of the worst developer experiences I’ve ever come across, which is why I’ve not looked into it at all so far … Actually I have looked into it just now, and I basically need an Apple device to do anything. Or virtualize Mac os which then virtualizes iOS, which probably costs some hours to all set up, yay. I hate this shitty company and its overpriced garbage.
So yeah, sorry for that rant… but if you could search for some way to open the debug console of Safari and see some sort of error message I could probably do something. Apparently it’s somewhere in the advanced/developer settings.
Oh, I thought it had something to do with the script. I mean I guess I could keep defunct instances around, but idk how useful that would be, and how to verify that the domain didn’t change to something completely unrelated…
Yeah that’s what I thought. This is how those buttons look in code:
The problem is that there’s no destination identifier attached. If you compare that with your name at the top of your comment:
, there’s an <a>
(and href=
) that identifies this as a link to somewhere. The buttons have no such identifying text with them, so I can’t rewrite them because I don’t know where they lead, it’s hidden within the application logic somewhere.
I’ll take a look when I’m back home :) could be that the context links aren’t really “links” at all, but “buttons”, which aren’t detected by my script.
If you look at the post, you see some screenshots/videos, there’s this little icon with two arrows in a circle that signifies if a link was rewritten, which is how you can check if it’s working.
If you can get any error message posted or sth I might be able to fix it, but I’ve got no way to test it on any apple device, that’s a bit of a problem :D
It updates automatically through your configured update interval, or you can go to the page and click “update”.
You can install userscripts on Safari on iOS. Dunno though if it actually works. That’s the cool thing about user scripts, they work basically anywhere if you want to.
I have the feeling people in healthcare also care more about moral issues, which was the main driver of leaving reddit, so it makes sense.
It’s exactly the same, just instead of “links” and “posts” it’s basically only “comments” being shared.
The main difference is instead of following communities (based on specific topics) you only follow people. As such, it is much more about personal connection.
And honestly, for me, I have enough personal connection in RL that I don’t really want anymore online, which is qualitatively just worse. It’s just so much nicer to have a face in front of you, being able to touch someone, all else being equal.
The default state of any human is stupidity. It takes lots of openness, learning and experience to un-stupid oneself. As such it is not really surprising that the world is overrun with stupidity. I’m just rather glad that there’s still enough openness and learning happening that it’s not all bad.
I use the default desktop KeePass client (no Xs or whatever) and it always synced correctly and picked up abd merged changes.
