Really like it, i just would make the bottom bar more retro and if you could do the same for the top one even better. I do like the purple, it gives more synthwave vibes
Signal really is that better replacement for WhatsApp since the functionality is identical, others would have to force people to get used to the different ui and the options.
Thx for the effort 🙏, the repo looks very interesting gonna have a look later
Like the nature theme of the setup, nice artix rice 👍

😂, I guess for big corps it’s like cents
This is cursed 🤣🤣🤣
If you are on Linux you could simply run a firejailed wine on the executable and not worry about much, if the firejailling stops something from working then the executable is kinda fishy since firajailed games should work (I tried it and it works)
Pretty slick setup 👌💯
Bringing more interactivity between fediverses would be very cool, maybe in the future we can have more direct interaction as well hopefully
Lmao, “required componentes to protect your privacy” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Didn’t knew about it, thx for the Intel 🤙
I don’t even use google anymore, I am currently using brave search (actually pretty good).
Not sure in terms of privacy if they respect that much but in my perspective brave aggregates results by themselves instead of just using the google or bing results so they are at least a decent alternative.
Also the ai integration has been good in the search results imo.
Yup, diversity offers more point of views and less echo chambery environments
Same 😅
Install the fdroid apps. Eternity is a good example of a fdroid app for lemmy
You can always switch to another language later on if anything goes south, since a lot of the thought process is the same behind the scripting 🤞
Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised, I don’t know much about Go but based on Google’s track record it seems like the gameplan is to sell a bunch of user data to third parties and go rich
I tried to upload a bigger image but Lemmy wasn’t allowing me to do so with ‘file too big’ error. I like Yambar cause its easier to customize it with custom scripts (like having a script to show how many packages to update) and also the feel of it is different and interesting to use.
Edit: I now have added a link for a higher res version of the image in the description 🤙
