That line appeared in “To Live and Die in LA” in exactly the same circumstances two years before “Lethal Weapon”. TLaDLA also had the first wrong way car chase that’s now a staple of every action movie. It’s funny how it was so influential in the industry but has so little lingering cultural impact.
I’m sure they weren’t. But to my original point, anyone publishing one of those photos would take pains to obscure minors. If they’re not certain I’d imagine they’d err on the side of caution.
I don’t, but this is the law in Canada: we don’t identify minors who commit or participate in crimes. Full stop. You can disagree with this, but that is the way it is.
But that’s the thing right? Greta put herself out there, much like Craig Kielberger did when he was a minor, or any number of junior athletes. It’s 100% different when a minor is involved in a crime even when their participation is voluntary.
They may be minors… or they can’t guarantee they’re not.

Umm…whut? They are ceremonial adult adoptions. Or am I missing something.
Carrie Bourassa, Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond, and Joseph Boyden were also all adopted into indigenous families. In all of those cases the point was made that adoption does not confer indigenous status.

The fact of a clearance has nothing to do with what Poilievre is doing. He is an anger clown who produces a non-stop stream of invective and complaints. Facts, relevance, and nuance are unwanted because they would interfere with the machine gun fire of grievances. So a clearance doesn’t hold any value for him. He simply wants something to complain about.
I have never been charged and I have brought a lot of liquor back over the years. Just be up front about it. They are more concerned about commercial operations than a consumer bringing back a couple hard to find bottles.

They moved in from outside the province and have been living on the property for two years and haven’t even applied for a permit yet. That’s a very generous interpretation of the word “building”. It actually sounds like they want to live in a trailer on the property and stretch the process out as long as possible - like build a porch on the front of the trailer and say that makes it a permanent structure.
So shoes are the reason to move? lol.
I lived in the US for a while. I knew people in the consular office in California who shared the stats on Canadian movement into and back out of the US. 75% of Canadian immigrants will repatriate within seven years. I was an over achiever, it took me 9.
There are advantages to being down there, but they are all centered in being childless and in good health. Everyone is one chronic illness away from bankruptcy. I was a post-doc at UCLA and my wife was a lawyer. The health insurance we could afford didn’t allow us to get treated at the hospital I worked at. As a matter of fact we basically had to choose between preventative care and acute care because our policy wouldn’t cover both.
The public school system has been so eroded it is basically useless, so you will have to use a charter school.
I enjoyed my time there, and California is a great place to be rich, but it gets much harder as you settle in and face actual adult life there.
And removed founder after that. Because it was going hurt monetization.
