Thanks everybody for keeping us keeping on…
Just your average urban druid interested in technology and quantum field theory.
Thanks everybody for keeping us keeping on…
WOOO!
Thanks for keeping Lemmy healthy. ❤️
If you’re able to share that memory with her please do so. It’s very nice!
Don’t call me pal, friend!
Memmy, and occasionally WefWef if I need to check on any odd behavior in Memmy.
If both are acting odd I web version it to confirm, then file a report.
Welcome to the Fediverse. I don’t think what you’re looking for can exist here. (And that’s by design…)
Lemmy is the software that ties the instances together. GitHub link was already provided.
Instances are run independently. Each has “product ownership” in just their own instance. There are over 10,0000 instances, and that number grows daily.
So you’re going to be trying to get 10,000+ cats to sit still for a group photo. Good luck!
Follow a few interesting people based on a tag, perhaps by number of favorites / boosts, and then remove that tag.
You can always add it back in later.
Nice! Thank you.
Any advice on mastodon?
Mastodon gets better when you start following people by hashtag.
Account Settings > Profile > Featured Hashtags
Populate that area with hashtags of what interests you. Pretty soon you have people popping up that share your interests and you follow those that seem interesting.
Perfect. Thank you!
How does one verify themselves? I have a Google account that I use and I just checked the settings in YouTube. No “verification” option was listed.
If you have the time and inclination can you step-by-step this process for us? I’d love to do the same but don’t understand the process. Heck I don’t know what “list” means!
Thanks either way awesome human.
I tried commenting on two videos yesterday and included links to topic-related websites, and they were deleted.
I checked the TOS and they caution about including inappropriate links in replies, but those weren’t that.
It seems the channel can include links but users can’t. Haven’t tested it much past that point either.

Same lifeboat. Been here about 2 weeks and am just getting comfy figuring out the federated thing.
Welcome other refugees! Please take off your life preserver and feel free to roam about the Fediverse.
Pike is just “ok”. His hair, on the other hand…
