Threads is exactly showing the biggest problem with anything Fediverse. It’s simpler for the user so it will be accepted. The amount of people I’ve already seen join is huge compared to mastodon.

1·1 year agoIf there is a minimum age in government, there needs to be a maximum. I’m over these 70 year olds running things.
For me the biggest issue is user engagement and missing communities.
I enjoyed /all to see news and discussion about that news, which isn’t really a thing on lemmy yet.
And i enjoyed small communities for the discussions and posts which are also not really a thing on lemmy yet.
