Op wants to give some sites something, and others not. As far as I understood it, this is not about facebook*. This is about random websites
Even if I would use facebook, facebook wouldn’t ever get money from ads from me because I don’t click on random stuff that pops up on a page. If I’d want to give back something to facebook, I’d need to send them money.
If you donate $1, you give the site more tgan what it can earn via ads from you in your life
I wondered about the sha as well but that’s good if you really depend on that version. Since immich is still heavily developing, this isn’t something I’d focus in the short term. Only if it persists
I’ve been using it since a couple of weeks. I barely use it, I uploaded a lot of documents. It is very time consuming to tag every uploaded old document. It works great! But batch commands are missing and the mobile app isn’t on par with the web version.
Moreover, OSS document scanner and pdf doc scan are great. I’d love to use paperless but I’m not sure if it’s the best solution right now.
The technology has changed and hence the dockerfile and thus the compose file
Thx!
Try HLS in the settings
Make sure pipe is disabled
And install tubular as a backup. When one app is broken, youc an fall back to the other one
That helps, thanks!
https://github.com/RandomNinjaAtk/arr-scripts/tree/main/lidarr downloads automatically. I don’t really decide. I add artists when I see one missing.
It’s more important to contribute to musicbrainz than to my library. If musicbrainz has it, I can dosnload it, if not, I can’t download it either.
Private trackers are not only protecting you. It also protects against full time leachers. And people keep up the quality of the seeds. Bad torrents die quickly.
Thanks for the write up. We need such a write up as a top level post if you’re down for it.
I use docker and prefer docker over a package.
I’d love to jump on the bandwagon but until now I thought it’s still years away.
Do you know if this is the right docker image? https://geti2p.net/de/download/docker
Are there other trackers than postman? For e.g. German/French content?
How to connect qbittorrent and i2p in docker?
Are there already private trackers as well? I prefer private ones.
Does it work for the average joe?
If not, what’s missing such that we all can move to it?
In case you ecncounter difficulties to find peers then it’s because of ports. You’ll find more peers with open ports and port forwarding of a vpn. It’s a bad limitation of the protocoll, imo. I2p may solve it when we switch to it (if we ever switch to it).
Do you torrent? Torrenting needs open ports
And that port forwards properly?
That is very bad advice for people knowing and trusting each other.
You call that “blatantly false”?
I dealt with this by using only trusted software. Problem solved. Neither kvaesitso nor lemmy or element will abuse it.
Agreed :)
