Why did modern Germany engage in restitution after the war if the Nazi regime was finished the people did not support the actions of the government or in more recent cases, were not alive for the actions that part of their taxes go toward making up for?

How can you say that Israel’s response is justified and overblown? It would have been justified to respond to the terrorist attack, it is a war crime to bomb hospitals and refugee camps. Israel has killed more toddlers, 2-6 year old children, since October than Hamas has killed in total in their attack and since.
A state has a right to defend itself but it’s spineless to sit on a fence and call it centrist. Israel’s response is ridiculous and if it was Iran we’d have lost our fucking minds already.

How do you reconcile the two? The Israelis have murdered indiscriminately across refugee sites and civilian cities. They are targeting protected buildings, using collective punishment and are responding far out of what would be considered in kind.

541·9 months agoI reported loads of content on Instagram, genuinely creepy accounts of “athletic teens” and they all got rejected.
I got caught in a horrible recommendations loop because I’d like family photos of running and gymnastics for my nieces and cousins.
But that is where the difference is, that’s not streaming or at least not as the term is used. That was a purchase of a specific title.
That’s not the ownership though, that’s a subscription to a service. Ownership is something like buying songs on iTunes not listening to them on Apple music.
I use it for shit I don’t care about which is most of my online presence. Like shopping sites and stuff, if someone managed to get into my passwords and order clothes for themselves I’d just get the money back from the bank.
There isn’t really all that much that can be done to me with a list of sites I’ve shopped in over the years, I don’t even have social media so they couldn’t even impersonate me not that that would matter all that much either.
