I like that on Lemmy I can share a viewpoint contrary to both the current black and white views, and people will take the time to read my entire comment, share their views on it, agree or disagree with me, but at the end of the day it’s a discussion.

Even if you paid ALL of them $5m/yr, China would pay a few $20m/yr. It’s not like there’s a bidding site that shows the guys who’ve been contacted. You either pay them all this outrageous sum or none.
