I’m curious to know more about your experiences. At home we try to only travel air canada and never had any issues. I’ve had so many terrible experiences with American, United and such that if I can choose air canada, I’ll always do it.
Control Panel for Twitter is pretty amazing tho
I worked at Outback Steakhouse (outside the US) and we were never allowed to serve burgers that weren’t well done. I’ve had to explain many times that it is due to the risk of illness from uncooked/processed meat and people still choose to be upset.
Wait, 6 months?? I never heard about that
“Murtaza Haider is a professor of Real Estate Management at Ryerson University. Stephen Moranis is a real estate industry veteran.”
oh yes very unbiased people right here
Edit: Seriously though, after reading the article this doesn’t bust any myth at all. The only “source” cited is the census map and they don’t even take their time to transform that data into something that’s proving their point. That’s just a piece of opinion, it isn’t proving anything.
Not the quoted person but a quick research:
Apparently around 1.3 million homes were vacant in Canada (2021 data)
I couldn’t find anything more recent.
I agree with many points from the article but I don’t think the title choice was good
I remember having really great meals when I was in a brazilian public kindergarten/elementary school. Many of the recipes weren’t my favourite at the time, but it was a meal. When I returned many years later to a public high school it was really sad to see how it downgraded from actual meals to crackers with “color juice” like you said.
100%. It is interesting that we never see these numbers with context. Is always just “half a million immigrants coming in” but never numbers that give some perspective along with that such deficit of skilled labour needed per industry or a deficit of births (something in the lines of that). Is always out of context numbers that support people with the theoretic that immigration is the main issue and that immigrants are arriving to work on unskilled jobs.
I moved briefly to Ontario and I was working at Starbucks at the time, getting used to the milk bags was a nightmare for me, I love the jugs! That being said, like others said, they aren’t supposed to burst like that.
By the looks of it, Toronto might get worse than Vancoucer for rent prices very soon.
I can’t understand this. She was fine retaking the childhood vaccines but the one for COVID. What kind of misinformation led her to believe that?
If you check fertility rates you will see that people aren’t willing to have children like they used to do. And it doesn’t seem that Japan is seeing their population decreasing as a good thing.
I am honestly in good faith attempting to argue that this way of thought is a slippery slope for other things that don’t necessarily include murdering specific groups of people and can still be considered fascist. For example, which solutions would you suggest?
To be clear, I am not saying I disagree with you in the regard that in our current society more people means more pollution and a higher rate of environmental destruction. Your wording just seems off.
Hold up friend, you’re really close on stepping on really dangerous ground (fascism).
So those are things that happen in all of BC? Guess I am just lucky then.
Immigration isn’t only for an international context but can also be used for people that immigrate from one city to another. One can be xenophobic if one dislikes the idea of people moving where they live (be that for prejudice of other’s culturies or for a belief that their home city will be worse due to immigration). People will always move where they please and using that as argument is just tiring. We need ways to regulate housing and stop people from profiting over it.
People from r/Canada are so pathetic and predictable that they got pissed at the article and the thread about this has already been locked.
“Why would corporations hoard housing if it wasn’t for immigration?” is the main argument they use, like corporations wouldn’t be attempting to profit over a basic human need in any circumstances.
This pisses me off so much.
It didn’t, I just saw many people complaining about the bot lately
I love that now the precedent exists and companies will think twice before adding chatbots like these.
