I don’t want to promote ‘state media’ per se, as that is often an abused form of ‘information and news’, but maybe we do need an official public distribution of warnings for current foreign lies and propaganda campaigns.
Possibly require social media, and typical sources of such propaganda campaigns to display a banner with warnings of recent things that are being spread and not true.
Sadly also a thing that could be abused, but we do need new tools in our toolbox.
I have not kept up on antibiotic resistance research, or phages in recent years.
I do recall a number of years ago, I believe in the US, someone scooping up pond and garden soil samples looking for new phages.
A quick search though, does show work on “phagemids”; the following article does mention that phages can cause harm to the human host by releasing harmful toxins in the bacteria when cell lysis is performed (potentially causing sepsis, or death), as well as bacteria do also develop resistance to phages over time.

They will, but there is also the chance that in gaining that new resistance, they may give up a different resistance, or become less lethal.
That’s the hopeful side of things; unfortunately, it is not uncommon for bacteria to develop resistance to a full combination of antibiotics over time, but I can be hopeful.
Do stores do rain checks there if you ask for them?
I’ve seen it at some stores in the US in the past, but not something that would be advertised, just some people getting a rain check if they specifically ask for it.

This article does not actually mention the chatbot being AI. As chatbots have been around for many years, it is possible this is just a normal non-‘AI’ chatbot that someone programmed that information with (potentially old information that had long since changed, but no one has updated).
Either way, they are liable for what it tells customers. If it is AI, well… no company should be using AI to make legally binding statements, or advertisements to customers (without human review).
At the moment, companies deploying an AI, should be doing so with AI as the product, not integrated into selling non-AI related products, or services.
