Subaru offer a certain set of keys for it iirc. Their software is absolute garbage though. Either get an older model or one with physical AC controls.

“develop a technological standard that might turn a user’s electronic device into the proof of age necessary to access restricted online content.”
Can we not? Can parents just take care of their kids like they have for thousands of years instead of futility trying to babyproof the internet for a minority of people? Jesus.
There are far more pressing things to worry about anyways. The moral panic over porn and LGBT+ people is so 20th century.
Go to a nude beach. Realize everyone kinda looks similar. Realize it’s not a big deal. Go back to reading your book or talking with friends on the beach. The north American continent is so unhealthy with nudity and sex.
There’s a bunch in c/all, lol. Some of it okay, some just straight up not great. Eventually c/all runs out of topics and just starts injecting nsfw posts from subs.
Huh, good to know. I might actually do that. I usually use an app, so I dunno if those settings are exposed in-app.
Even the helpful bots get annoying after a bit. You submit a post, and immediately get linked bots that show you five alternative sites, three units of measure you already know, and one bot that has absolutely butchered the synopsis of the article posted and left out important details that then derail the conversation.
I’m honestly so sick of bots on this website. Nobody even comments, it’s just junk that then dilutes the actual communities posting in c/all. I’d love to have a way to block all memes, porn, and bot posts just so I could actually discover new communities here instead of AI redhead pussy, bots crossposting stale linux memes, and old reddit help threads with 0 comments because they are asking for help on a different site.
I’m really glad that it’s small. I’d rather see genuine posts about 3D printing or aquariums or mountainbiking rather than ragetext memes or influencer shit on the frontpage of reddit. I do hope we kinda dial down the copy/paste bot content from reddit though, especially the memes.
Growth always comes in waves and then settles. I spent nearly a decade on reddit until they killed my app. Reddit took over a decade to become really big. I’m not really that worried for lemmy that much, especially since we now have a framework for something other than reddit. Even if reddit goes into nosedive mode, it won’t be the end of forums as we know it.
Really? I haven’t seen them in months. Maybe they are blocked on my instance?
Bit of both! I like the aquarium sub here. I also get really sick of the same bad news over and over again. Especially since a lot of the sources are…not reliable sources… I generally stick to stuff like conversation subs gardening, gaming, etc.
I think this one is kinda peaceful.
Could be worse, lol. Russia is sending all their young people on a one way ticket to snoozetown in Ukraine while releasing hardened criminals into the streets without jobs. China is gonna have like…a 30 year age gap and no women because of the one child policy. And their housing market, built on staggering levels of debt, is now reaching the breaking point, as they hit market saturation and can’t sell new buildings to offload old debt. Iran is killing and brutalizing their young people who are starting to get really pissied off about religious BS and the terrible economy.
I’d stay where you are. As we shift to a multipolar world from a unipolar one, things are gonna get dicy, wars and climate change-wise. Canada ain’t perfect, but it’s pretty good overall.
Can confirm that this prompt works. God forbid you try to make a sculpture of a mable werewolf sitting on (marble) Lincoln’s lap though, lmfao. Apparently circumcision is fine though.
Dude, those are for challenge pissing competitions. If you can piss six feet up and not get wet, you get zero down payment on a new car from Big Bill Hells cars.
I’m bi, and there’s a decent amount of content if you are into specific things. Definitely more F than M though, atm.
War fucking sucks ass. We should be focusing on science, education, and preservation of the different species on this planet. If we actually focused our efforts, we could be mining asteroids and building large space stations within mere decades.
However, there’s also not a whole lot of room for that when your unwashed, idiot neighbors get a bunch of nuclear-tipped missiles and decide to launch rockets over your country for food concessions, since they spend literally all their budget on nuclear research.
It also is a bit of a bummer when a larger neighbor decides that all of your bases belong to them.
The world (or, if we make it this far,) the stars will always have the dumbasses of the galaxy, like the Putins, the Xis, and the Kim Jong Uns seeking to cling onto a ratty postage stamp of power, and will tear down everything to cling to it. It’s everyone’s responsibility to make sure that it doesn’t happen; that they aren’t allowed to destroy everything for 15 minutes of power.
So that’s why we have war. It’s shitty, a massive waste of time, effort, and resources, but we have to drag that son of a bitch out whenever someone gets the ass and decides that the modicum of power they have is not enough anymore.
What happened to them anyways? Did everyone just mass defederate them? Or did I somehow block them entirely?
We only started pirating after Amazon refused to let us play movies we paid for because our hardware was too old for their DRM. It was a 2014 PC made of recycled parts. At the time, it was less than 10 years old. We pirated the same movie and realized it was easier to find, higher quality, and surprise, surprise, capable of playing on a PC we kept out of the landfill.
When I see anti piracy measures that punish people that don’t pirate, such as massive performance hits or privacy violating features, it makes me want to pirate more.
