Right, but that’s the point. You don’t have to like and trust them, as long as they aren’t hurting your community, which, as best I can tell, they aren’t. You can still federate with people you don’t like, as long as you can trust them enough to not over run or hurt your communities.
Exploding heads was hurting communities, so that’s different.
Then who cares if one instance has tankie admins? I hope that we have all kinds of admins hosting different instances.
What counts as an active user? Voting? Commenting? Posting?
Why? No reason we couldn’t keep doing amas. What would prevent it from being productive right now?
I would prefer to use Lemmy, but it simply doesn’t have some things that reddit currently has. It could in the future, but it doesn’t have the user base yet.
