Agreed. Having a nice front page with a whole bunch of things is great, but not having those niche communities is rough even doing the transition

I mean all your can do is engage with the community and actually work to get it up to what you want. I’ve commented more in the last 3 days then I did in 8 years on Reddit cause I want it to thrive

Yes Sam. I’m all on board this lemmy train but that was the one thing I was going to miss from doing my Google searches. Hopefully at some point let me will be popular enough that I can replace most of my forums and searches with Lemmy
