That sounds like a huge security risk. I’m surprised any browser allows it.

In addition to what Squizzy said, Israel has conscription, so there’s a very good chance these athletes are / were members of the IDF. So it is entirely possible that they did engage in atrocities against Palestinians.

It was Kyoto Animation that was attacked. They have quite a few similarities in artstyle and themes to Ghibli, and you could maybe call them a spiritual successor. But neither is owned by, or a part of, the other.
Ghibli recently released How Do You Live, probably their last film. With the last surviving founders retiring, Nippon TV will manage the studio and the museum.
I can’t believe someone actually burned down Studio Ghibli HQ before Citizen’s United was.
Do you mean Kyoto Animation?
Those are rookie muscles. Gotta pump those muscles up!
The food looks Genshin-y, I guess.
Stable Diffusion didn’t get the reference, but it looks nice anyway.
Not fully, but I browsed through both, and I (mostly) agree with what they are saying. But they are talking about pesticides, not GM organisms. Again, I’m not claiming that there are no issues with GMOs. But pesticides and GMOs are completely different! You cannot show that pesticides cause X and then claim that therefore GMOs cause X.
Pesticides may have effects on the timing of puberty. But genetic modification is something completely different. GM crops have their own risks (contamination of wild populations, seed monopolies etc.) but as far as I know they do not affect human health.
I think your second point is valid, but the first is upside-down. Landlords compete with tenants for plots and bank loans. If they started leaving the market, more plots will free up and banks will be forced to start giving out loans to tenants. This will allow people who are currently tenants to build their own houses, rather than needing to rent. And your third point only applies if you exclude some properties from rent control, which is what Ontario seems to be doing.
Landlords were one of the biggest targets of the classical economists. Mill, if I remember correctly, had some choice words about them.
Domains aren’t sold, they are leased for a period of time. In this case the lease was for ten years and is lapsing now.
I don’t think the email thing is connected to this. That just happened at roughly the same time.
I get a little over 10 dollars a day. Also, while my country has an excellent, free system for internal financial transactions, any international transaction will be (a) complicated and (b) expensive.
I’m not saying I wouldn’t pay USD1USD0 for a website, but I sure wouldn’t do it for a hobby one.
.ml is just Mali’s country domain. Maybe your workplace should get a better filter?
lemmy.ml was a sort of prototype made by the devs of the lemmy software. It wasn’t really meant for widespread public adoption. So it makes sense that they went with a free domain.
I mean, the .ml domain belongs to Mali and they have every right to take it back.
But both of those are possible on Firefox?
