There are companies out there that do allow this for digital licenses. Arturia, an audio software and hardware company, lets you de-register and sell a license key to someone else, who can re-register it. They don’t charge any fees for it at all either, like some companies do. It’s not hard, most companies just don’t care about you as a customer.

Edit: Their license keys all include five seats too.

That’s not good enough in my opinion, it should be opt in, not opt out. They’re marketing it on their site as being more secure because you can self-host. It all just seems really skeevy.

No it hasn’t been. 70yrs would be a stretch. Even in the 60s you’d still have Mono albums released regularly, as well as alongside Stereo releases. Stereo television broadcasts weren’t introduced until 1984 in the United States. For reference, the first Dolby Surround cinema release was Apocalypse Now in 1979.

Not the OP but yeah, I steer clear of Empress. Not just because she’s a bigot though. I seriously think she’s unhinged enough to put something harmful like malware inside a cracked binary. I’m not the only one that thinks that either, Fitgirl brings it up as one of the reasons she stopped repacking Empress almost three years ago.

Weird that this flavour that’s been recognised in eastern cuisine for 100s if not 1000s of years uses a borrowed word in English when it’s only been acknowledged in western cuisine for a few decades.
