Reddit lost basically 90% of its appeal to me when they banned third party apps. I am also sleeping better since purging it out of my life so screw that.

Usually I notice the admins are right onto it and actually take reports seriously. It’s so refreshing.

I’m finding I use Lemmy more than Reddit, because the place is less hostile and the discussions are usually actually worth reading again.

I am now 4 being a sloth, working hard is overrated.

Why is everybody on these platforms “4 something” now? Politics isn’t football, you don’t pick your team and have to let everyone know about it.

Just post everything in public and never have to worry about it in the first place.

I’ll raise your “what’s the solution” with a “lets avoid the problem entirely”.

Prevention is better than cure.

Threads will be the dominant instance by a huge margin.

We don’t need them and they don’t need us.

Things don’t need to grow to be successful.

There is fortunately enough content across the fediverse currently to keep me away from Reddit and I hope it stays like this
