News broke last week indicating that a number of unnamed players were expected to surrender to London, Ontario police in relatively short order in relation to a sexual assault investigation surrounding the 2018 World Junior Hockey Championship team that represented Canada at that tournament.
On Sunday, Formenton surrendered himself to police in connection with that investigation while his legal team maintained his innocence.
