    It would be helpful it were “stop driving, fund better transit” but oh well, interim measures to ensure the life-saving device isn’t a grenade.

      I get your point here, but in this case I think it would make more sense for toyota to pay for rentals until their vehicles are repaired. Ultimately it isn’t on toyota to build our cities better.
