I used to have Yuzu, but reformatted my Deck after the DMCA, and I don’t wanna bother compiling Yuzu myself. So I switched to Ryujinx.
I’m running it on a first gen Deck with absolutely no issues, and a steady framerate. Be sure to switch your graphics backend from Vulkan to OpenGL, that should fix the crashing.
The game doesn’t take a lot out of the Deck, so I actually have the GPU downclocked to 800Mhz, and the refresh rate locked to 30FPS, since that’s what AC runs at. I keep the CPU at normal clock because it makes the game load faster, but you can also downclock that if you don’t mind the load times.
Not really looking to be a mod, but I wouldn’t mind helping out, since I can’t afford to donate right now. I’m in CST (GMT-6), and you might say I’m a little active. Terminally online, I think I’ve been called.
I’m probably not the most knowledgeable here when it comes to tech, but I do have an Unraid NAS with, among other services, a full Servarr stack automating my entire media intake, from TV shows and movies to audiobooks and novels, which pipes everything to the related media server and deletes it after I’m done watching.
And you already know I’m an anarchist, since we talked about it recently.
Usenet and the Servarr apps will cover any movies or tv shows you want to watch. I use Jellyfin to stream it to my TV, and Jellyseer for finding shows to watch.
You can run it all on your PC via Docker, or on a NAS if you have one. You can even set up Jellyfin to delete media you’ve already watched, so the whole process is pretty much automated besides telling it the shows you want with Jellyseer.
Also, use the Trash guides to set up the Servarr apps. This is a must.
PSA: If you use Cloudflare to proxy, you can get a free decade long certificate and not worry about it for awhile.
The only thing you need to worry about is turning on battery conservation to protect the battery, or removing the battery entirely if your laptop doesn’t support that. Because if you have it plugged in and the battery is at 100% all the time, it’s going to go bad quickly. Bad batteries can sometimes swell up, which could turn into a fire hazard.
I’ve never had iOS shut my VPN off, and I use a kill switch so I would immediately know.
Man, I remember looking up all sort of fantasy and cyberpunk artwork on Tumblr back in the day. Haven’t been on there in several years though.
Hoarder does not have that option, sadly. It would be nice if it did, but the link database is stored on the server you host it on, and the background service that screenshots the site and gets tags for it needs to be online. Without being exposed to the internet, Hoarder won’t do you any good.
