Some instances (like mine and lemmings.world) have automated bots to clean up these spam posts everywhere. I think lemmy world has an automod as well, but maybe it’s not working as well if you keep seeing these spam posts?

The game is very very much rigged. Most concert halls for example won’t even agree to allow a band unless it’s signed with a record label. So even if you’re super popular on by giving away your music for free, the game is setup to force you into a contract.

Sometimes improving an existing software is not always possible. One example is when the lead devs do not accept the proposed features. Another scenario is when a dev team is too onerous to work with. I am not involved in this project so I do not know the background here myself so I can only make a few educated guesses.
