Especially in Europe a lot of them try to better people instead of punishing them and many have special institutions for teenagers that are my like psychiatric wards than prisons

Can’t have the already well-off children go without their steady income that they didn’t have to work for…

Another circlejerk article for Europe with a hypothetical scenario as an opinion piece just to get people angry. Seems weird that something like this is coming from Reuters - I thought they did mostly matter of fact reporting for things that happened and not stuff like this

Criticism of both sides is fine but there are too many people straight up picking the Palestinian side without questions and even implying that Israel is deliberately killing civilians for the sake of it without thinking a second about if that even makes sense because they apparently believe that all Israelis (“all Jews”) are evil…

I guess because the “suppress local wages” thing sounds a lot like the “immigrants took our jobs” thing

You mean like when Ukraine claimed Russia put explosives on that dam that now is gone?
